    Had a lovely takeaway from here when on a recent trip to Denver. I arrived for a late lunch and was giving the happy hour specials menu, which worked out perfectly. I had the edamame (warm, huge portion) and the tuna poke bowl. The poke bowl had so many toppings, it was delicious. The tuna seemed fairly fresh. The lady serving me was lovely! There was a weird smell in the restaurant, hence the star down.

    In town and went to Menya last night. A very solid 4 stars. Had their kimchi which was really good. I ordered the tan tan ramen asked for extra spicy and they delivered! It was good and spicy! Was happy with this choice for dinner! Check it out!

    Food came out fast and tasted great. Fast, friendly service too, and a pretty fair price. We started with the veggie egg rolls and gyoza which were par for course. Girlfriend had the curry rice bowl which was a good example of a Japanese style curry, I had the Champon which I can't compare since I never had it before, but tasted very good. I would be a regular if I was in the area.

    I feel like Downtown Denver restaurants are hit or miss, especially when they're often overpriced. But I finally came to eat at Menya, getting their Spicy Miso Ramen ($15.50) before heading off to work an event. It was actually REALLY good. The broth was perfectly spicy. There was a good amount of pork belly. So warm and nourishing. Service was friendly and efficient. Would come back again if I was already in Downtown Denver.
